Refund Policy

환불 규정 (한국어)

1. 서비스 제공방법 및 기간: Zoom을 통한 1:1 화상 수업(50분). 레슨 예약은 현재 시각 이후부터 30일 이내 가용 슬롯에 대해 가능. 구매한 레슨 크레딧의 유효기간은 무기한이며 만료되지 않음.

2. 무료 체험: 결제 없음, 환불 해당 없음.

3. 1:1 수업 취소: 수업 12시간 전까지 취소 시 전액 환불 또는 재예약. 12시간 이내 취소/노쇼는 환불 불가. 강사 취소 시 전액 환불.

4. 레슨 구매 청약철회 (전자상거래법 제17조): 구매일로부터 7일 이내 미사용 레슨 전액 환불 가능 (사유 불문). 7일 이후 미사용분은 개별 협의. 사용된 레슨은 환불 불가. 환불은 신청일로부터 3영업일 이내 원 결제수단으로 처리.

We want every student to feel confident booking with KickstartKorean. Here is our service terms and refund policy.

1. Service Method & Availability Period (서비스 제공방법 및 기간)

  • Delivery method: All lessons are conducted as private 50-minute video sessions over Zoom with Gyuhun S. The Zoom link is emailed to you once your booking is confirmed.
  • Booking window: Lessons can be scheduled for any available slot from the current time up to 30 days in the future, with a maximum of 2 lessons per day.
  • Credit validity period: Purchased lesson credits have no expiration date (무기한). You may use them at any time after purchase with no deadline.

2. Free Trial Lesson

The free trial lesson requires no payment, so no refund is applicable. Simply apply using the form on the homepage and Gyuhun will be in touch within 24 hours.

3. 1-on-1 Lessons

Cancellation 12+ hours before the lesson

If you cancel or reschedule your lesson at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time, you are entitled to a full refund of your payment, or you may choose to reschedule at no extra charge.

Cancellation less than 12 hours before the lesson

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson are not eligible for a refund. This policy exists to respect Gyuhun's time and availability reserved for your session.

No-shows

If you do not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson fee is forfeited and no refund will be issued.

Lesson cancelled by Gyuhun

If Gyuhun cancels a lesson for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule, whichever you prefer.

4. 7-Day Withdrawal Right (청약철회권)

Full refund within 7 days, no questions asked.

Under Article 17 of the Korean Electronic Commerce Act (전자상거래법), you have the right to withdraw from a lesson purchase within 7 days of the purchase date and receive a full refund of any unused lessons.

  • Within 7 days of purchase: you may request a full refund of any unused lessons, no reason required.
  • After 7 days: unused lessons may be refunded on a case-by-case basis. Lessons that have already been used are not refundable.
  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days of the withdrawal request via the original payment method.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a 1-on-1 lesson, contact us by email as early as possible:

  • Include your name, booking date, and reason for cancellation
  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method (PayPal) within 3–5 business days
